Terms of Use

The rules of using IAS Exams.

Last updated:

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using https://iasexams.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About IAS Exams

IAS Exams is a free examination-preparation resource published by gknxt llc for general informational and educational purposes — study material, current affairs, past papers, practice tests, and cutoff data for the UPSC Civil Services and other competitive examinations. The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Union Public Service Commission or any government body. The Site is not a substitute for the official examination notification, rules, or calendar published by the conducting authority, nor for professional advice of any kind.

3. Accuracy of information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that facts on the Site — syllabus outlines, exam patterns, dates, cutoff marks, answer keys — are accurate, cross-checking against official publications and multiple reputable sources. Despite this care, errors and omissions can occur, and examination rules change. Always verify dates, eligibility, and requirements against the official notification at upsc.gov.in or the relevant conducting authority before acting on them. If you spot an error we’d be grateful if you’d let us know via the Contact page.

4. Permitted use of content

You are welcome to read, link to, and quote brief portions of the Site’s content for personal, non-commercial educational use — including your own exam preparation and notes — provided you credit IAS Exams and link back where reasonably practical. The following are not permitted without our prior written consent:

  • Republishing entire articles or large excerpts;
  • Automated scraping, crawling, or bulk downloading of the Site beyond ordinary search-engine and answer-engine indexing;
  • Any commercial use, including reprinting in books, coaching material, courses, or paid publications.

5. Intellectual property

The IAS Exams name, the visual design of the Site, the editorial selection and arrangement of content, and the original written text are © 2026 gknxt llc, all rights reserved. Examination questions from past papers remain the property of their conducting authorities and are reproduced for educational reference. Photographs and illustrations licensed from third parties or in the public domain remain the property of their respective owners.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please reach us through the Contact page with a description of the work you own, the URL where it appears on the Site, and your contact information. We will review and respond promptly.

6. Your communications with us

When you fill out a form on the Site or otherwise send us feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and respond to your message in operating and improving the Site. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive personal information.

7. Third-party links and content

The Site links to external websites — including official government portals — that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, advertising, products, or other materials on those sites. A link is not an endorsement.

8. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

The Site may be supported by advertising and self-promotional placements. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you click them and make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. We do not endorse any specific advertised product or service. We do not directly share your personal information with advertisers, although third-party ad networks may collect data via standard cookies, as described in their own privacy policies.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, measure aggregate traffic, and serve any advertising. Most modern web browsers let you control or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from reading the Site.

10. No guarantee of results

Examination success depends on many factors outside any study resource. Nothing on the Site — including practice tests, score estimates, and cutoff analysis — is a prediction or guarantee of your performance, selection, or rank in any examination.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, gknxt llc and its officers, contributors, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any direct damages, in the aggregate, shall not exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD $100).

13. Children

The Site is intended to be safe for general audiences, including students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Material changes will be summarised at the top of this page for at least thirty days. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of competent jurisdiction located there, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
